Our Community Hub is becoming a reality

Crosslinks building

After years of planning, collaboration and commitment, we are excited to share that construction of our new Community Hub is about to begin.

This week marks an important milestone, with REAL (WA) pty ltd appointed as the builder to undertake the renovation and help bring the Community Hub to life.

We are pleased to be working with REAL again. Their practical advice, problem-solving and genuine commitment to working together have already made a difference.

A special thank you to Steve and the REAL (WA) pty ltd team as we prepare to move into construction. With a nine-month delivery timeframe, it will not be long before years of planning start taking shape.

It has taken a team to get here

REAL’s appointment followed a builder selection process managed by our project managers, Turner & Townsend, who will continue to support the project throughout construction. We especially thank Jade, Isheanesu and Damian for their advice, expertise and commitment along the way.

Many others have also helped turn our vision into a practical and achievable plan.

SPH Architecture + Interiors has brought thoughtful and creative design to the project, helping create a space shaped around how people will use it.

RBB has provided the cost planning and financial expertise needed to help us make informed decisions and achieve the best possible value from our investment.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped us reach this point.

More than a building

The Community Hub has never been simply about renovating a building. It is about creating better connections and opportunities for our community.

The Hub will bring organisations, services and resources together in one shared environment. By working alongside each other and sharing resources, organisations can collaborate more easily and help people connect with the support they need.

Our vision is for a connected community where organisations work together, resources are shared and people are supported to find the right pathway for them.

An investment in our community

Reaching this point has taken many years of commitment.

Crosslinks‘ investment in the Community Hub reflects years of responsible financial management and our commitment to building a strong, sustainable organisation that can invest back into the community we serve.

We could not do this alone.

We are very grateful for the support of Lotterywest as our major sponsor, the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation and the City of Swan. Their support and belief in the vision have helped make the Community Hub possible.

We also thank the many community members, staff, Board members, organisations, partners and supporters who have contributed along the way.

It has taken a community to get this far.

Now, after years of conversations, planning, design and determination, construction is about to begin.

We are excited to see the Community Hub take shape over the next nine months and look forward to sharing the journey with our community.
