BOARD DIRECTOR
My career has been a diverse mix of large and small agencies across federal and state government, including elite sport, science, zoos, food, cemeteries and central government and most recently as the CEO of the not for profit leadership development organisation Leadership WA.
I hold an Executive Masters in Public Administration, a Bachelor of Arts with language majors (French, German and English) and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing. I’m is a Fellow of Leadership WA’s Signature Program, and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Whilst at the Department of Premier and Cabinet, I established OnBoard WA, which was aimed at getting female representation onto 50% of government boards as a minimum.
In 2016 I was named as Leadership WA’s “Distinguished Fellow”, in 2020 was a WA State Finalist in the Telstra Businesswoman of the Year Awards and in 2024 I was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for services to business and community
On a personal note, I am a Civil Marriage Celebrant and has represented WA in the state team for dragon-boating (bronze medal at the National championships thank you very much.) In 2022 I completed the Hawaiian Ride for Youth, which means cycling over 700kms from Albany to Perth to raise funds for Youth Focus which supports youth mental health and suicide prevention.
I am also on the Board of Perth Symphony Orchestra – ‘the orchestra that breaks the rules’.
I joined the Board of Crosslinks as I have a fervent belief in creating opportunities for all to live a full and vibrant life and through collaboration and energy, we can make a difference.
