International Day of People with Disability

Why celebrate for a day when you can make it a week? At Crosslinks, we went all out for International Day of People with Disability – Australia (IDPwD), and true to form, we made it a celebration to remember!

This year’s theme, “Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future,” inspired a week filled with connection, fun, and reflection.

From the National Disability Services Lunch Celebration at Crown to a wonderful day at Caversham Wildlife Park, we came together to respect the contributions and leadership of people with disabilities in creating a more inclusive society.

We are proudly recognising the importance of fostering a supportive community where everyone can thrive.

The daytrip was a fab opportunity to connect through nature and animals, with free entry for carers and support workers to help make the event more financially accessible.

Together, we are driving positive change and working towards a future where inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.
