At Crosslinks, we provide SIL support for people with mild to complex disabilities. Whether someone needs around-the-clock care or just a check-in now and then, we tailor supports to suit their life — not the other way around.
Our team can pop by regularly to support NDIS goals, get out in the community, or simply build a friendly connection.
We can arrange sleepover or active overnight staff to support evening and night-time routines.
Our trained Disability Support Workers are available 24/7 to assist with daily living, personal care, and everything that makes a house feel like home.
At Crosslinks, our homes are more than just a place to live—they’re a place to grow, connect, and feel truly at home.
Each house includes semi-furnished shared areas with comfy lounges, a dining table, kitchen appliances, internet, Netflix and a washing machine. Your bedroom is your own space to personalise, so bring the things that matter— bedding, bedside table, and any extras that help it feel like you (think photos, hobbies, even your own desk or TV).
We’re here to support your independence, in whatever way works best for you. That could include:
We know moving into supported accommodation is a big step, so we keep things simple, supported, and led by your comfort. Here’s how we help make the transition smooth:
We take the time to get to know you—and give you a chance to get to know us. We learn what makes you feel safe and happy in a home, and what kind of support you’ll need.
You’ll start with short, supported visits to your potential new home. Together, we’ll explore the local area—like nearby parks, shops and services—and ease into overnight and weekend stays when you’re ready.
Once you feel comfortable, we’ll support your full move-in. From there, we stay connected with regular check-ins to make sure everything continues to feel right for you and your family.
Want to chat about what the move might look like for you or someone you support? Our friendly team is ready to walk you through the details and answer any questions—big or small.
Each Crosslinks home is semi-furnished and ready to enjoy. Shared areas include:
We also make sure the home is set up to suit any specific accessibility needs. It’s a space built for comfort, connection, and everyday living.
You’ll need to bring your own bedroom furniture and personal items to make your space feel like home. That usually includes:
We’ll chat with you before the move to make sure you know exactly what to bring.
Yes, absolutely. We take the time to introduce you to your potential housemates before you move in. You’ll have the chance to visit the home, spend some time together, and get a feel for the household. We carefully match housemates based on interests, compatibility and comfort—because a good fit makes all the difference.
Of course. We encourage families and guardians to visit the house during the transition period. It’s important that everyone feels informed and reassured. We’ll walk you through the space, answer any questions, and make sure your family is included every step of the way.
As much as you’d like to be! We believe in building independence at every opportunity. You’ll have a personal support profile tailored to your goals and comfort level. Daily routines could include
These tasks aren’t just chores—they’re part of what makes the house your home.
Mealtimes are a shared experience. You’ll be invited to join in planning weekly menus, helping in the kitchen, and making decisions like going out for dinner or having a BBQ at home. It’s a great way to build confidence, independence—and have some fun too.
That’s really up to you and your housemates! With support from our team, you might:
We encourage fun, shared experiences—but always in ways that suit each person’s comfort and interests.
Not at all. While shared living means you’re part of a friendly household, your time is still your own. You can join in for shared meals, movie nights or just hang out when it suits you—but you’ll always have the freedom to enjoy privacy, quiet time, or your own routines.
If you’d like to get out and about beyond the house, our Community Inclusion team can support you to do the things you love—whether that’s visiting the local café, joining a class, going to the gym, or working towards a personal goal. It’s all about choice, connection and doing what feels right for you.
Fees depend on your individual support needs and how many people live in the home.
We’re happy to talk through the details, so please get in touch and we’ll help you understand what’s involved.
Once you’ve moved in, we stay connected and make sure everything continues to feel right. You’ll have regular check-ins with your support team, and we’ll always be on hand to help with any questions, changes, or new goals that come up.
You’ll settle into your routines, get to know your housemates, and start making the space your own. If your needs change over time, we’ll adjust the support to match—because your home should grow with you.
We’re here for the long run, making sure your home stays safe, supportive, and truly yours.
Whether someone is preparing to move out for the first time, their current setup isn’t working anymore, or they’re simply looking for more connection — we make the transition feel possible, not overwhelming.
If the person you’re supporting has SIL accommodation funding in their NDIS plan, our team will:
We know this is a big decision. That’s why we’re here from the first conversation to the day they move in — supporting every step of the way.
