At Crosslinks, we believe everyone should be part of the celebration—especially when it comes to something as meaningful as NAIDOC Week.
For Sherylee, getting out and about isn’t easy right now. She’s currently at home and on oxygen support. But that didn’t stop her from connecting with culture and creativity this NAIDOC Week. Her amazing support worker, Sue, brought the celebration to her.
Together, they created something truly special.
Sue organised a range of fun, hands-on activities so Sherylee could join in from home. With brushes and paints at the ready, Sherylee decorated a stone with a vibrant Aboriginal flag and a beautiful Indigenous-inspired pattern. She also joined in playing traditional-style instruments, filling her space with sound, rhythm and joy.
It was a small celebration in size—but big in meaning. Sherylee’s smile said it all.
This is what support at Crosslinks looks like. We listen, we care, and we always find ways to include fun, culture, and connection – wherever people are.
Let’s create more moments like this.
