Find Your Calm At This Bayswater SDA Home

Looking for a peaceful place to call home? This beautiful newbuild in Bayswater offers just that, and more. With stunning Swan River views, gentle routines, and four friendly housemates who love music, quiet time and the occasional shared moment, this home is the definition of calm, comfort, and connection.

The vibe here is all about doing your own thing at your own pace, supported by a kind, professional team who truly care. Whether it’s listening to music, going for a riverside walk, or just relaxing in the lounge with a favourite show, everyone has the space to be themselves. And with an accessible design, private en-suite room, and peaceful courtyard full of birdlife, it’s the perfect spot to feel at home.

  • Unique House Feature: Private Courtyard With Sweeping River Views.
  • Fun Fact: Music is always playing, creating a calming, connected atmosphere throughout the home.

The Vibe

Bedrooms: The available room is a standout, featuring its own private en-suite with a toilet and shower, plus a door that opens directly onto those breathtaking river views. Imagine waking up to that every day! It’s not just a room, it’s a rare find and a truly special place to call home.

Bathroom: A fully ensuite bathroom is available with this room for you!

Kitchen: The heart of the home is a bright, open-plan kitchen that flows seamlessly into a spacious lounge and dining area. There’s plenty of room to prepare meals, whether you’re cooking solo or with support, and the large dining table is perfect for shared dinners or a quiet cuppa. The space is fully accessible, filled with natural light, and thoughtfully designed to feel welcoming, practical, and relaxed.

The Spaces

Outdoor Space: Step out the back and you’re greeted with sweeping riverside views, perfect for soaking up the serenity. There’s a comfy patio setting where housemates can sit back, relax, and enjoy a cuppa in the fresh air. The space is open, peaceful, and ideal for anyone who loves being close to nature. One of our favourite touches? The bird table, which brings friendly feathered visitors right to the backyard. It’s a calm and inviting spot to unwind at any time of day.

Lounge Areas: The lounge is spacious, calm, and made for comfort. With several cosy reclining chairs and a large sofa, there’s always a perfect spot to stretch out and relax. A big-screen TV is the hero of the room, great for movie nights or quiet afternoons. And thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, you’ll still enjoy those stunning courtyard and river views, even from inside. The space is minimalist and clutter-free, creating a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding, or sneaking in a well-deserved snooze!

The Extras

Applicanes: Kitted with all modern appliances, including a blender, dishwasher and rice cooker.

Comfort: The home offers year-round comfort with reverse-cycle air conditioning, natural light, and peaceful spaces to relax, inside and out.

We’re looking for a relaxed and easy-going male or female housemate to join a peaceful and friendly home where everyone enjoys their own space, and a few shared moments too.

This household has a lovely rhythm to it. All current housemates are non-verbal. Music is always playing in the background, and the vibe is low-key but warm. It’s a great match for someone who:

  • Enjoys the simple things, music, a good walk, or a favourite TV show
  • Likes the idea of friendly, respectful housemates
  • Feels at home with routine and structure
  • Loves calm surroundings and quiet time, with the option to chat or share a meal
  • Is happy doing their own thing, but open to the occasional shared activity
  • Has moderate to high needs.
  • SDA funding is required.

If you’re a calm and caring person who appreciates music, routine, and quiet company, this could be a great place to feel settled, supported, and at ease.

Location

Tucked away on a peaceful street in beautiful Bayswater, this home enjoys one of the best riverside spots around. Just steps from the Swan River, it’s perfect for scenic strolls, with Gobba Lake Playground and the Eric Singleton Bird Sanctuary right nearby for a dose of nature and fresh air.

You’re also close to local shops, cosy cafés, and community essentials, with Bayswater Train Station just a quick five-minute drive away. It’s a quiet, convenient location that offers the best of both worlds: calm surroundings and easy access to everything you need.
